“It's good... I just made a couple of changes”

With fifteen years’ experience running his creative agency, Nick works with small and large businesses from a yuuuuge variety of industries. His skill set reaches from floor to ceiling.

From graphic design to UI, he always puts the user first, himself second, his friendly neighbour third, and so on and so forth. He enjoys crafting immersive experiences that encourage deeper engagement. He is a recovering emo.

“Yep, I’m still here. Just cleaning up some spew."

Kim is a maker. A maker of possibilities, sage advice, and very cute babies. When "they" talk about women having it all, they're actually talking about Kim. She can run the backend of any business, come through with designs, and brew a baby all without losing her sense of humour.

She has fifteen years' industry experience and a lifetime worth of zen points. She's our wizard behind the curtain, but not quite so ostentatious.

“Hey everyone! My inbox is at zero! Oh wait. False alarm”

Francis has two main functions at Light Creative: managing everything and making puns. He does both very well, thanks in part to his expertise ranging from copywriting and editing, to social media and digital presence management.

An acrostic of his name would go like this - Fierce Rational Amphibious Nourishing Calm Incorruptible Sassy.

“Once I dropped my phone in a glass of milk!”

Lisa is the physical embodiment of the 'work hard, play hard' philosophy. Until a client calls. Then she subscribes to the ancient school of desk hiding. Lisa is so good at multi-tasking, we suspect she has either a timer turner or an identical twin.

With an advanced diploma in graphic design from RMIT under her belt, as well as a UX cert from General Assembly, she's our young design gun. And, sometimes, we worry she'll run out of space on her utility belt.

“Good morning! Do you have a moment to talk about pressure cookers?”

When the source code goes bananas thanks to the meddling of an evil, moustachioed man, who do you call in to save the world? Amos Whitewolf.

When trouble's abrewin', we lash a rope around Amos and dunk him into the Matrix to problem solve. His youthful (but deserved) confidence and perfectionist streak make him the developer you deserve. Also, he loves to hang out in saunas. Not in a weird way. Steam is good for you.

“My arms looks like two long, beige tubes! I'm going to the gym now.”

When he was 21, Julian was riding his bicycle down St Kilda Road in heavy traffic. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw something magical - two dogs having sex. In his excitement, he swerved across eight lanes of traffic.

Even though he nearly died that day, his video "2 dawgs going at it" went viral, receiving 128 views on Facebook and a "lollll" from Greg. He's been working as a videographer ever since.

“Oh my god! I thought that scrunched up paper was a spider!”

Carla loves only two things in this messed-up world: colours and being so much younger than us that she doesn't get our pop-culture references. When she's not being very young, she works for Light Creative as a versatile and precise designer, who always kicks sideways.

Her associate's degree in graphic design from RMIT attests to her practical skill set while her fear of spiders/scrunched up pieces of paper attests to good, old-fashioned common sense.

"Dirty code is like a bottomless pit of [email protected]#%around."

Harry Forde, the new and improved millennial version of Harrison Ford, is our self-taught developer. He is intolerant to both gluten and social niceties but loves a challenge and building things that have never been built before.

He’s just discovered juice. This is not a metaphor for any kind of drug or steroid use. Just straight-up fruit juice. He loves it.

“A man's memes are his own business”

Imogen creates premium words and terrible jokes. The jokes are free but the words will cost ya. Her journalism degree from QUT and years of industry experience in copy and journalism give her mad writing authority. Her love of dorky memes dilutes this, but only a little.  She can often be found wearing overalls, eating cheese, and having heated debates about the dangers of uncovered urban wells.

She kindly asks her colleagues to please stop hitting table tennis balls at her.

"I always remember my blood type because it's B+ - be positive! Like me! I am positive!”

Our prolific photographer, Nico, has many things. These things include: a seemingly endless supply of energy, the curiosity of a puppy, a magical ability to put people at ease even when they have a camera in their face, infectious passion, and a shaved head that grants luck if you rub it.

He's shot everything (with his camera, that is) from staged corporate portraits to strangers on the street. He brings his magic to everything his camera touches. And he's a Photoshop baller to boot.
