Why Poko?

Developed by web development company Touch My Pixel, they have found, when creating Rich Internet Applications, often flash driven, most CMSes are not appropriate. This is because they focus on giving the user features which are tied into frontend and are often html-based. This often means that a custom built CMS is needed. Tired of making custom solutions, TMP wanted to make a more generic, but still user friendly way to manage data & sites.

Poko was designed to be a flexible CMS, not focusing on website features, but managing data. Most things that a database designer will want to do (different data relationships) are possible. A lot of other commonly needed features, such as ordering, filtering, media management, data & form validataion are also avaiable.
